What is Discord?
Discord is an intimate, algorithm free community space. You can log in via app or web browser on desktop or mobile.
You can completely customize the notifications (or turn them off) and log in each week to share your work or join the creative discussion.
This is NOT for you if…
You want tough love.
You want rigid inflexible accountability.
You want business advice (this community is focused on the creative process.)
You want specific action prompts. (The creative ecosystem framework is based on self reflection. I believe we all need different things. I may provide ideas, but I will never tell you directly what you should do.)

Do I have to be an artist?
You don’t have to identify as an artist to join. But I believe humans are all intrinsically creative. We are constantly expressing ourselves to others with words, actions, and imagery. When you do this with intention you are an artist. If you are ready to explore your creativity this is the place for you.
Will you tell me what to make?
No.
This membership does not include art prompts, but is there to support whatever creative pursuits you are called to.
What is art?
Coming with the big questions now. 😂 My definition of art includes every creative pursuit including, but not limited to:
Words (writing, noveling, poetry, etc.)
Images (visual art, photography, animation, etc.)
Performance (acting, dance, improv, music, etc.)
3D Works (sculpture, ceramics, weaving, etc.)
New Media (coding, robotics, 360 video, etc.)
Crafting (scrapbooking, papercrafts, holiday crafts, etc.)
Traditional Handcrafts (sewing, embroidery, wood carving, etc.)
It is important to me that this is an egalitarian creative space. I hold no hierarchy between “fine art” and other forms of creative expression.
What if I live in the Southern Hemisphere?
This structure will work for both Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
What I am calling seasons are three month cycles. But none of the prompts are specific to physical seasons such as spring, summer, autumn, or winter.
I’d like to participate, but I can’t due to finances.
I offer a limited number of comp spots for this reason. Please reach out if you’d like to arrange a trade.
