This week at camp we're making bubbles! Thanks to Mom for helping me make this video. (We had so much fun y'all!)
You can pick up a bottle at the store or follow the recipe below for giant bubbles. If your bubbles are popping too easily just add more glycerin. It is the secret ingredient. ;)
1 Cup Dishsoap*
4 Tablespoons Glycerin
7 Cups Hot Water
*Use something extra sudsy like Dawn in the US or I'm guessing Fairy in the UK (I can't get over the fact y'all have a dishsoap named Fairy!)... natural dishsoap isn't bubbly enough for this.
I mixed mine in a plastic storage tub so it was portable, but any dish will do.
Here is a close up of the giant bubble wand we made. It is two dowel sticks with eyehooks, and then some crochet thread tied in a circle with a washer to weigh it down.
